Gevey Ultra S can now unlock CDMA iPhone 4S

Earlier we had reported, that Gevey has come up with Ultra S to unlock iPhone 4S. But the interposer was only able to unlock iPhone 4S GSM version, there was no way we could unlock CDMA version of  iPhone 4S. But now Gevey has updated its Ultra S and now it can unlock GSM + CDMA version of iPhone 4S, but for that jailbreak is required. No jailbreak is yet available for iOS 5.1, so only iPhone 4S running on iOS 5 and iOS 5.0.1 can be unlocked using Ultra S. You can pre-order it from Apple N Berry for $54.99. Unlock iPhone 4S using Gevey Ultra S

We already know about TPSIM and R SIM, which claim to unlock iPhone 4S, but we don’t have any proof as yet. Now a familiar name Gevey, which has a good record of unlocking iPhone 4 have released Gevey Ultra S to unlock iPhone 4S. According to Gevey, Ultra S works on iOS 5.0, 5.0.1 and Baseband 1.0.11, 1.013, 1.0.14 of iPhone 4S. You can pre-order it from Apple N Berry for $54.99 and will be shipped by March. [Coming Soon] Gevey SIM unlock for iPhone 4 baseband 4.11.08

Apple N Berry, the folks behind Gevey SIM announced some good news for iPhone 4 users who stuck on baseband 4.11.08. They are currently performing tests on new version of Gevey SIM to unlock 4.11.08. Now there is no ETA on when the new Gevey SIM will be launched, but it might not take much time. Till than we can just wait….because currently there is no unlock available for iPhone 4 baseband 4.11.08.

Unlock iPhone 4S using TPSIM interposer

Here is some great news for iPhone 4S users who are desperately waiting to unlock their phone. ChinaSnow is the company that has done this job to unlock the iPhone 4S using a SIM interposer which works much like Gevey. The SIM interposer is called TPSIM.

As claimed by ChinaSnow, TPSIM unlocks:

  • iPhone 4S Basebands supported – 1.0.11, 1.0.13, 1.0.14
  • iPhone 4 Unlock - 1.59.00, 2.10.04, 3.10.01, 4.10.0
