Downgrade from iOS 5.1 to iOS 5.0.1 might be possible

 

Currently it is impossible to downgrade A5 iOS devices (iPhone 4S and iPad 2) because the way Apple has implemented aptickets in the iOS 5. Yes, you can’t even if you have SHSH blobs saved. But things are going to change as iH8sn0w, the famous hacker behind sn0wbreeze has tweeted that he has found a loophole in Apple’s apticket system that will help in downgrading A5 iOS devices – iPhone 4S and iPad 2.

Apple drops iPad 2 prices, $399 for Wi-Fi only model

I thought that Apple will discontinue iPad 2 once iPad 3 is unveiled, that is what happened with first generation iPad when iPad 2 was launched. But to my surprise, iPad 2 still exist with a price drop of $100 i.e. iPad 2 16GB Wi-Fi will cost $399 and 3G will cost $529. These price drop by Apple is surely going to give its competitor a tough time.

iPad 3 might come with “A5X” processor

As we are getting closer to iPad 3 launch, more and more leaks and rumors are unveiled everyday. Now according to a leaked image on Chinese forum WeiPhone, the iPad 3 will have an A5X processor. It was speculated that iPad 3 will have A6 processor, but it looks like Apple has different game in mind. MacRumors suggest that, the code “1146″ on the A5X processor indicates that the processor was manufactured on 46th week of 2011 (November 14th-20th). iPad 3 might have 8 megapixel back camera

According to reports from Next Media, iPad 3′s back camera will be significantly upgraded to 8 MP as it is now in case of iPhone 4S. The comparison images shows a slightly bigger camera in new iPad as compared to iPad 2. They even mentioned that iPad 3 will have improved retina display, quad-core processor, and a March 7th as launch date.
