iPhone 5 to release in October but Apple yet to finalize design

According to iMore, iPhone 5 is slated to be released in October but Apple is yet to select design for iPhone 5. Reports even say that the size might not see any change and even if Apple decides to make the display bigger  then don’t expect it to be bigger than 4-inch. If the rumors are to be believed then we might see iPhone 5 to be launched along with 7-inch iPad.

Downgrade from iOS 5.1 to iOS 5.0.1 might be possible

 

Currently it is impossible to downgrade A5 iOS devices (iPhone 4S and iPad 2) because the way Apple has implemented aptickets in the iOS 5. Yes, you can’t even if you have SHSH blobs saved. But things are going to change as iH8sn0w, the famous hacker behind sn0wbreeze has tweeted that he has found a loophole in Apple’s apticket system that will help in downgrading A5 iOS devices – iPhone 4S and iPad 2.

The new iPhone to launch in Fall

According to iMore, Apple will launch its next generation iPhone 5 in October. The new iPhone will be 4G LTE compatible as we saw in the case of the new iPad and will feature screen size similar to iPhone 4S and that is 3.5″. Tether Launches HTML5-Based Tethering WebApp

Tether has launched a tethering iOS app - iTether, which allowed to use your iPhone’s data plan on ypur PC or Mac. But Apple quickly removed the app from the App Store. Now Thether has a new tethering solution and this time it is HTML5 based so it doesn’t require downloading anything from the App Store. The service will cost you $30 per year and to order it visit Tether’s website.

“Tether is an application that allows your PC to take advantage of your iPhone’s data plan, allowing you to access the Internet on your laptop anywhere there is cellular coverage from your iPhone.”
