Siri now claims she can speak Japanese, but she can’t

9to5mac noticed that Siri is not a good secret keeper. When floks at 9to5mac asked Siri what languages she speaks, well the answer was:

“I can speak French, English, Japanese and German… but I’m always learning.”

But Siri preferences only show English, French and German as supported languages. There were rumors that Siri might speak Mandarin Chinese, Japanese, and Russian from next month. Apple’s Siri FAQ says that she will support Japanese, Chinese, Korean, Italian, and Spanish in 2012. We might hear something at iPad 3 launch which is rumored to take place on 7th March.
